Mrs. Thunderhill’s Creations
Hello friends! We have a very exciting September ahead of us! With two more art festivals and a lot of new projects on the horizon we are going to be working hard this month. The Boulder Art Festival was an amazing experience, and thank you to everyone who showed up and supported the artists there.
We are excited to report that the cute Ghosts RJ painted on the mini canvases were a huge hit with everyone who saw them, and she has already been commissioned for two more! On top of that, RJ just recently finished a new Graphite piece. Pictured below are the Ghosts that everyone loved, a new digital piece, and the new Graphite drawing of a hummingbird we saw in Santa Fe, New Mexico during our recent trip there. The incredible detail RJ is able to capture in Graphite is always mind blowing, and this piece is no exception. She is hoping to do a series of artworks that are all of small animals. It should turn out really cute, and that means there are definitely going to be more mini canvas paintings of adorable little creatures!
Little critters aren’t the only thing on the agenda for the next few weeks. It’s September and that means it’s time to break out the Fall and Holiday artworks! We are excited to show off what we have been working on the first weekend of this month(Sep 6th and 7th) at the Winter Park Art Festival from 11-7 on Saturday and 11-6 on Sunday. It’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in Fine Art to find the perfect piece to add to their home or collection. The following weekend we will be hard at work at home and in the art studio preparing for the ARTumn Festival in Crested Butte the weekend of Sep 20th and 21st from 11-6 on Saturday and 8-4 on Sunday. We hope to see you there!
There is a lot to look forward to in the next month, and we are just as excited for our opportunities in October! Look for us at the Urban Markets, and Holiday Markets in Denver in October and November! More on that in the next Newsletter! Thank you so much for reading, and we hope to see you soon!
