Did You Miss Us?

Have no fear, we are still here! We are so excited to share with all of you the amazing work we have been doing since you last heard from us. First, we have apparel now available in the shop, and it looks awesome. Second, we have been doing a lot of work on the website to make it an easier experience for everyone using it. Not to mention the new and exciting artworks that are coming out soon. Look in the French Press in Aurora in April to see her paintings in person over breakfast!

This last February has been a lot of learning with not just website design, but product design and testing. Apparel was a new challenge that we are happy that we stepped into with both feet. Our experience working with Ink and Drink was a huge help in this endeavor, but our designs still needed work to make them compatible with our supplier. It was a fun and exciting time being able to stretch our creative legs during the product creation process.

If you purchase apparel and e-mail us a review, thunderhillcreates@gmail.com, we will send you a discount code for 20% off your next purchase on our website!

This also came with the challenge of integrating these new products into the website. That is when we decided to take a look at the website top to bottom. We have learned a lot about web design in the last few months, and we have worked hard to make our website easier for you to use. The changes might seem subtle, but they are proven to make things smoother for everyone. We hope you don’t even notice and have an easy time on mrsthunderhill.com.

The artwork in the house recently has been full of life and color. It makes me so happy to see the wonderful creations come pouring out of the art studio. We are lucky to be able to live in a home with such beautiful colors and peaceful moments. The latest works, a series of teacups, are simple and yet elegant and vibrant. They continue a beautiful set of 4x4 works that seem to capture cuteness, or beauty, or color, or happiness, or simplicity, or maybe all of them at once. This is while continuing the school works that she has been finishing in gouache. The colors in her last piece are incredibly vibrant, and to quote the artist, “The Yellows be Yellowing hard.” Her final school project in gouache is all framed and hanging in the art room, and thus begins yet another new thing to learn. Be on the look out for Oil paintings coming soon!

RJ’s work will be on display and for sale the entire month of April in The French Press Aurora. We are in the process of planning our Market and Special Event Schedule, so be on the look-out for next month’s News Letter with dates for you to save! We are always moving forward, and we appreciate all of your support more than you could ever know!

Thank You So Much!!!
