Spring has Sprung!
It's time for Spring, and that means it's also time for Art Markets! We are excited to share with everyone all the prep work and art that has been happening here at Mrs. Thunderhill's Creations LLC. RJ has been learning a new medium (oil painting), and we are continuing to update and improve our product selection. This is certainly our busiest time of the year, and it's all paying off!
We are 23 days away from our first Outdoor Market of the year in Glenwood Springs. Join us Memorial Day(May 23rd-25th) weekend from 11am-7pm on 7th St. and Bethel Plaza. We are excited to show everyone what we have been working on. The booth is going to look a lot different this year, and we are super happy to be adding apparel. We haven't been slouching on other products either, this year we are rolling out a slew of new kitchen and house hold items like coasters, mugs, pillows, water bottles and more! Come and see all of the wonderful items that could bring you joy in life.
The art is still flowing out of RJ's studio. She was just recently accepted into an nationally juried art show at 931 Gallery on Santa Fe. She has two pieces in the Body Language show, "A Morning on My Terms" and "Just Chill'n" both for sale and on display until Monday May 11th. The show is a focus on abstract and contemporary figurative work, and is a fun and beautiful way to spend the evening. RJ has also been busy trying to learn the latest medium in school, oil. It's a brand new process that includes a lot of new and exciting techniques for her to master. Her very first piece is a monochromatic still life featuring a pitcher, a cup, an apple, and a stunning bunch of bananas that she is using to experiment and learn, yet it still looks fantastic. It's so thrilling to think of the masterpieces that we will be writing about in a few years!
