It's Time to Visit Us!
Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, and with it came the first art market of the year! RJ has been hard at work making some amazing artwork, and our market research has paid off for everyone. We have the products that people have been asking for in order to bring as much of RJ's wonderful artworks to as many people as possible. Our biggest hit has been sticker sheets and coasters so make sure to check them out on the website or next time you see us at one of the many art fairs we will be at this summer.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support local artists this weekend in Glenwood Springs. We are so happy to have had such a beautiful area for our first market of the year. It was an amazing turnout for the new booth set up where we have worked very hard to bring the best quality products, that you will actually use. These markets are also an amazing opportunity to browse RJ's original artwork in the mini-gallery we have in our booth, as well as to come feel the fabric of the apparel in person. Come and visit us in front of Union Station May 30th - 31st and June 6th - 7th to see all of the fantastic upgrades we have made to make your life more colorful!
While in Glenwood Springs, RJ had the opportunity to bring joy to many people by live painting in the booth. She painted the wonderful new addition to the Gouache Gallery on the website (also pictured below) called "Where the Bees Sleep." It is an amazing piece featuring a bumble bee fast asleep in a flower after a long day, of pollinating. She has also finished her most recent Acrylic piece, "Try Not to Wake Up." This stunning artwork was a chance for RJ to experiment with some new supplies, painting scenery, and challenge herself to paint from her mind rather than from reference. She found the process to be very meditative and refreshing and it shows as the image feels dreamy and serene. It turns out that the images in her mind are the dreams I have of a peaceful and beautiful life in a cozy home. That's not all though, while we are all day dreaming about RJ's Acrylic works, she has been finishing her very first Oil Painting! "The Bananas" is now in the Gallery on the website, and joins the other works of Fine Art available there.
